Durga Puja
This is one of the most popular socio-religious event of the year. All Bengalis both children and adults all over the world wait eagerly for this celebration. Many fond memories are refreshed during this time of the year like the coming of autumn, the blue sky and the crisp air fragrant with the smell of shiuli phool. It also reminds us of the hard working craftsmen from Kumurtuli who work day and night to make the prettiest idols for people to worship all over the world.
Bijoya Dashami
This day marks the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and also the victory of Maa Durga over Mahisasur. So this is a big occasion to celebrate for all Hindus all over the world. People forget their differences, quarrels and come together as friends and families to celebrate.

Maa Saraswati is the goddess of learning. Every year sometime in January or February we worship Maa Saraswati, so she can bless all of us specially who are still going to schools, colleges and universities.
